Virtual Air Gap

Protect critical assets without curbing connectivity

By definition, an “air-gapped” computer or network is one that has no network interfaces, either wired or wireless, connected to outside networks. This is typically done for critical systems or databases that hold sensitive information. While this is one of the ways of protecting your critical infrastructure or sensitive information, it does not allow for remote access for various purposes. In an ever connected world, this causes friction for digital transformation. With increasing attacks on sensitive data, critical infrastructure, there is a need for a solution that will airgap the system while providing access to only authorized users.

Our SAIFE solution allows you to create a “Virtual Air Gap” that will provide you the protection of a physical airgap while giving you the ability to access these air gapped assets from anywhere in the world. This access is only allowed to people who have the SAIFE client installed on their laptops or phones. You can virtually airgap any critical asset without the need for expensive hardware. The time taken to create these airgaps is a small fraction of what it takes with traditional hardware based methods.
